Septic Tank Pumping
Septic Pumping
Septic system health is vital to your property’s health and longevity. When you neglect the emptying of your tank, you’re risking a backup situation which can cause incredible damage to your home and your plumbing.
It’s recommended that you pump your septic system every 3 to 5 years. This range is dependent on how many occupants you have of the building, and how much time is being spent at that property. If you’re a family of 5 and you mainly stay home during the day, you’ll likely need a pump every 3 years. If you’re empty nesters who leave each day for work, you may be able to get away with every 5 years.
To be safe, we encourage all of our customers to commit to a 3 year schedule. Manhole cover access is required to properly pump a septic tank. A 6″ inspection port cannot be used to pump the tank.
